Stained Glass I Made

Roy Williams

Orange Tree, Pasadena 1999.
One of the loveliest things about my apartment is that there is an orange tree right outside the bedroom window. This glass is an attempt to represent the light when the sun is on the tree.

Buddha, Pasadena, 1999.
This Buddha has different coloured glass to represent the colours of the seven Chakras and their positions in the body. The white Chakra, at the apex of the head, is represented by a prism, something that combines and contains all the other colours.

Poppies, Pasadena, 1999.
This glass is after the print by the Japanese artist Hokusai.

Absolut Church, Pasadena, 1999.
This image suggests that what people really think about when they are in church is a good stiff shot of vodka.

Stellation of the Icosahedron, Pasadena, 2000.
This glass uses two thicknesses of lead kame. It is a compound of five tetrahedra, one of the many stellations of the icosahdron.
